I really like this Apple Peanut Butter Smoothie. It makes for a great on-the-go snack that is full of energy and nutrients.
I don't know too many people who don't like the apples and peanut butter flavor combo. I love peanut butter but the high calories that come with it are less desirable. And to be honest, it bothers my acid reflux.
About a year ago my trainer suggested powdered peanut butter. I found PBFit and haven't looked back since. It's 90% (yup, 90) less fat! You just mix it with water and it's just like peanut butter. Plus, it comes in a chocolate peanut butter powder, too! I highly recommend.
I use it in smoothies, as a dip for my apples, in my morning shake and in baking. I have a few new recipes that I'm working on, too.
