There are certain fruits that we associate with Fall and two of them came together to make this tasty drink. I’d like to share my Apple Pear Smoothie with Spinach with you.
While looking at the drink, it doesn’t scream Fall due to it’s white and green colors. But it certainly tastes like it!
The smoothie contains apple juice, pear, greek yogurt and spinach. It’s that simple. The smoothie is packed with nutrients and great for when you’re on the go.Related: Apple Peanut Butter Smoothie
If you wanted to add even more protein, you can always add protein powder. If you do decide to add it, be sure to increase the amount of apple juice.
Smoothies can be a great way to get your nutrients. You can blend things in that you barely taste and still get the nutritional value from them. For example, I am not a fan of kale but I know it’s really good for you. I can just add it to a smoothie! I don’t taste it and I’m getting the benefits.
This works great with kids, too. While this particular smoothie shows the spinach that’s been included, most of them can be covered up with the different colorings of the ingredients.
