This recipe has many great things going on. The Chicken Apple Wrap is a nice, light meal that is filling and leaves you feeling very satisfied. The ingredients all have good health benefits. It’s a win-win wrap!
I used a basic grilled chicken in this recipe because it adds a different layer of flavor. I only used some salt and pepper here so the flavors complimented each other. I didn't feel like firing up the grill, so I used a Grill Pan. It's great for when you want to have that grilled flavor without the extra work. The ridges in the bottom of the pan also help to redirect any fat from your food, if you're making any meats that have a higher fat content like steak. I've used mine time and time again, it's worth looking into, especially if you can't have a grill where you live.
I wanted to keep the apples raw because of the way the crisp texture goes with the juicy chicken. To bring it all together, I used some of the Greek Yogurt Cranberry Mayo. And of course I used Flatout Protein wraps. Once you take the first bite, you’ll be hooked!Related: Apple Bacon Chicken
One thing that I’ll share that is very likely apparent in my photos is that I do not have the best wrap skills. It makes me laugh, especially when I see some of my fellow food bloggers posting these gorgeous, perfectly round wraps. Some people have it, some people don’t...I don’t lol.
My imperfect wrapping aside, the Chicken Apple Wrap is a great dish!
