  1. In a large saute pan, add the chicken breast and season with the poultry seasoning. Add the garlic and begin cooking over medium heat. After you flip the chicken, add sprinkle the lemon zest over each piece.
  2. Cook the chicken until it reaches about 158 degrees and remove from the pan. Use up to 1/3 of the chicken broth if the bottom of the pan starts looking a little burnt.
  3. The pan will have these brown bits left in the bottom. Those are really flavorful. Pour the remaining 1/3 cup of the chicken broth in an mix it with the brown bits until there is nothing left on the bottom of the pan.
  4. Turn the heat to low and add the lemon slices, Italian seasoning and butter. Let is simmer on low heat for about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Add the chicken back in and turn it a couple times to make sure the sauce covers all of it. Remove the pan from the heat and let it sit for a couple minutes before serving.
