One of the toughest parts of a weight loss journey is finding the ways to eat healthier without feeling like you're missing out on flavor. One challenge I ran into was having to figure out a replacement for mayonnaise. A great solution was to make Greek Yogurt Cranberry Mayo.
I went with the Greek yogurt instead of a lite mayo because I don't really care for the taste of the lite mayo. However, once you start eating healthier foods, mayonnaise seems very heavy and doesn't really fit the meal.
I'm well aware that plain, fat free yogurt is an acquired taste. It took a while to get used to. But this mayo helps make a great transition. It has a little sweet from the cranberries, while the salt and pepper help make it a bit more on savory side.
I happen to love this on wraps and sandwiches. Give it a try the next time you make chicken salad.
